The Panther Paint-off
RULES AND REGULATIONS NOT YET FINAL UNTIL 3PM Thursday April 12
Grade levels will choose--first come, first served--a concrete barrier block (like the one at the south parking lot entrance) to paint to match the theme for sprINgSANITY and to support the team(s) near their barrier.
Painting of these barriers is intended to fit the theme of sprINgSANITY ("Playback"/Retro), to encourage the team/sport where the barrier is placed, and to promote Panther Pride. Use of school colors and puns is highly encouraged, but not required.
All painting/slogans must be school-appropriate and not damage any school property.
Painting is to be only of the assigned concrete barrier and nothing should be attached to/alter the barrier in such a way to make re-using and repainting the barrier to be difficult/impossible.
Choices of barrier:
softball/baseball field area--Sophomores, 50s
soccer field area--Freshmen, the 90s
tennis courts area--Seniors, the 70s
entrance to track area--Juniors, the 80s
Painting the barrier can begin the Monday prior to sprINgSANITY (April 16) and must be completed by 7pm on Thursday, April 26.
*all supplies are the responsibility of the grade level/members of each grade-level team. A class advisor/adult must be present/available when students are painting and is responsible for all actions taken by students while painting.
